Our Pastor, Rev. Dr. Donald E. Harrison is a Pastor, Teacher, and a Preacher with a passion for God and people. He is married and has two daughters and one granddaughter. He has been in the Gospel ministry for thirty-nine years, where he has pastored three churches, including Whetstone. Dr. Harrison’s vision is Whetstone being a place where you can learn and grow and be taught the Word of God with simplicity and clarity. Dr. Harrison extends an open invitation to come, visit, fellowship, and worship the Lord in spirit and in truth.
He firmly believes in holistic ministry, one of his favorite verses from the word of God is 1 Corinthians 9:16:
“For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” (KJV)
